Under Age Drivers, January 2009
Anyone under the age of 17 and looking to race in the state of New Jersey at Bridgeport Speedway in any class needs to have paper work on file with the track management before you are able to get on the track per New Jersey state regulations, mandated and enforced by the State Police. You must have proof of age on file. 1.A copy of your Birth Certificate. 2.A signed permission slip to race signed by a parent (Legal Guardian) and 3. A short resume of your racing experience to date. Bring these 3. items with you for opening night or if you expect to practice bring it then and give to Joe Ruchlewicz, Friday night race director.

First of all I would like to say that we are really looking forward to the upcoming season! We are expecting tons of support from drivers and can only hope that it is doubled in that from the fans! We will keep updating information as it is presented to keep everyone interested in what is going on this season!
We are hosting a pre-tech day on March 14, 2009 from 9-2. For any cars that are done and like to be tech by the safety inspector early before practice this is your shot! Also available will be pit licenses for sale, pit spots for sale, 1099's to be filled out early, and ROOKIE sign-up information. Hoffman Brothers will have a truck at the track on this day as well for anyone who needs anything! This day is for all cars, Friday and Saturday BOTH!
I would like to remind all of the underage drivers, you still have to complete all of the paperwork even if you did it last year. Without this turned in you will not be able to be on the track on practice day!
I would like to apologize for the mistake in the schedule, we did not realize we were running against Charlie Cathell's Championship weekend on the 7, 8. We have moved our Atlantic Coast Weekend to October 31, 2009 a one day show, with a rain date of November 1, 2009. I am sorry for the confusion, hope this helps!
I would like to let everybody know that the Granite Run Mall will be hosting a Bridgeport Speedway Weekend on March 6-8. We will have tons of cars all over the mall and a table set up with schedules, chance to buy pit license, and Parking Spots and Fill out 1099's and answer any questions any driver or fan may have! The more support we have at this show the better it would be! I hope many of you can come out and enjoy the weekend with us!

BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY’S CAR SHOW RETURNS TO THE GRANITE RUN MALL
BRIDGEPORT, NJ (February 15, 2009) - The Granite Run Mall will host a Bridgeport Speedway car show on Saturday, March 7, 2009 and Sunday March 8, 2009. Race cars from the 1/4-mile speedway and the big 5/8th-mile oval will be on display throughout the mall. Bridgeport Speedway will have an informational display, including 2009 racing schedules, at the center of the mall. Located at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 352 in Media, Pennsylvania, the Granite Run Mall can be easily reached by using I-476, I-95, or Route 202. The Granite Run Mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 9:30 pm with Sunday hours from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
As part of the car show at the Granite Run Mall, a fundraiser will occur to help support the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation in their quest to find a cure for Mesothelioma. This form of cancer affects the smooth lining of the chest, lungs, heart, and abdomen.
Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.

The BUCKHORN Restaurant has returned this year sponsoring the 270 & 600cc Micro Sprints, “B” Main Winners once again for 2009. The BUCKHORN Restaurant is located at Exit 18 off of route I-295 in Paulsboro N.J. 600cc Wingless Series Dates
2009
Bridgeport, New Jersey- January 14, 2009
Hello everyone.
Bridgeport Speedway, Fast and Furious Fridays, We are going to run a 4 race 600cc wingless series this year. We are still working on sponsors and final details, but the dates will be.May 29, Guhl Motors sponsored, June 26, July 31 Spar racing Engines sponsored, and August 28 Thornton Racing Fabrication sponsored. The wingless races will be run as the last race of the night. The winged 600 will be the first class out for the night allowing teams time to convert their cars. Complete details to follow as they are finalized. Hope to see you all there.

Racing Spectacular and Fundraiser.
Bill Thomas Racing presents the 1st Annual Meet & Greet the Drivers and View the cars of Bridgeport Speedway in support of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation to help fund research, to find a cure for Mesothelioma. Believe in a Cure www.curemeso.org
The show is set for the Granite Run Mall, Media, Pa. March 7 & 8. The show will see the mall filled with racing vehicles of all classes and there will be a number of current and retired racers on hand along with Ms Motorsports 2009 signing autographs throughout the weekend.
