PACK THE TRACK NIGHT IS COMING TO BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

BRIDGEPORT, NJ (June 17, 2009) - Quarter mile racing at Bridgeport Speedway has seen a resurgence the past few years with growing car counts and superb racing. Now, race fans will have an opportunity to see this entertaining racing while saving some cash as Bridgeport Speedway will be conducting a Pack the Track night on Friday, July 17th. “This should turn out to be a very fun and inexpensive night for anyone including families with the reduction of the adult admission,”
said Promoter Jessica James.

Adult grandstand admission for this special night is priced at only $5. Kids 12 and under will be admitted for free. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM with the first green flag slated to wave at 7:00 PM.
Racing on the inner dirt oval will include the 4-Cylinder Stock cars joined by the 270cc and 600cc Micro-Sprints in a fast paced three division show.

Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.

In looking to continuously grow and add content to the website to help keep racers and fans informed we are reaching out to see if anyone is interested in writing stories about the racing program for Fast and Furious Fridays. Either on a weekly basis or monthly. Maybe your views on the racing that night or your experience at the track that night in the stands. Would you like to interview fans in the stands or drivers and have it published here? Send me an email to Info@LocalMicros.com Thanks Bill

Rochelle started eighth, took the lead from early pacesetter Paul McCollum, and held off a late race charge from last week’s Linda’s Speedway winner, Justin Grim, to post his second “A” main event win of the season.
